Big Cedar Resort in Missouri

We had an amazing view of these fireworks from our balcony the day after we arrived at our hotel. Definitely a memorable event!

Over memorial day weekend, we were able to go to Missouri to visit Big Cedar Lodge for the first time.  Yes, I am just getting this blog post out now but on a separate note, the twins are potty trained-for the most part!

My husband is the dishwasher in our home.  Well, we have a dishwasher, but he loads and unloads it.  He did not volunteer for this job, nope it was not by choice, he was given that task by me as a trade off for me doing the laundry every night.

You may remember that when I first started blogging, like 6 months ago, I had a short-lived series called Favorite Joke Friday.  ( I have to admit, I just went and looked up the title because I forgot what I called it.)

I listed jokes and things that were silly and made me chuckle.  I chose Friday because I like to wind down and get loose and be lighthearted since it is the weekend. For my family and I this means we eat pizza, drink soda, watch Donna Reed, listen to Jazz etc, you get the picture from my previous post My Fridays are like jazz and my Saturdays like Donna Reed.

In the beginning, there was a really cute drawer but it hid all of my jewelry from me on very important occasions- so I had to give it the boot and make something that served my purposes a little bit better.  So it begins!

There are lots of ways to keep cool this summer and I am excited to share some information with you about ways to have some water-filled fun this summer, with the temperatures expected to soar over 100 degrees very soon, at least here in Oklahoma!
